How the auction works
cafesnearme.biz is one open list of cafes. A visitor gives a location and a price, and the cafe sits exactly where that price earns it. Listing starts at $5.00; moving up costs a dollar more than the cafe above. There is no account, no subscription and no stored card — the only thing that writes money onto the list is a cleared payment.

Questions
- Do I have to own the cafe to bid?
- No. Anyone can raise any cafe. Most bids come from regulars who want their local place found first.
- How is the rank calculated?
- Rank is the total of every cleared payment for that cafe, highest first. Ties keep the earlier cafe ahead, so passing someone always costs one dollar more than the cafe above.
- Does a second payment replace the first?
- No, payments add up. If a cafe is at $28 and the one above is at $34, raising it costs the $7 gap — not $35.
- How much does it cost to be listed?
- Listing starts at $5.00, paid once. That is the entry price of the auction; where the cafe sits depends on how much has been paid for it in total.
- What do I get for the money?
- A position. People nearby see the top cafes first, on the list and on the map, and every outbound click is counted on the cafe page.
- Can I get a refund?
- Being outbid is not a refund reason — the rank is relative by design. Charges that were taken but never published, double charges and our own failures are refunded within 30 days.
